Marvel productions, be it paperwork or cinematic, are adored and followed by many fans around the world. However, different people have different approaches on how they want to pursue the storylines. Some choose to come only after those that unfold in the comics, some in films, while others prefer to do it simultaneously in both. As a fan who has consistently followed Marvel, I have noticed many differences, either for improvements, or to suit the general demographics. It is therefore worth investigating upon this topic of the comics and their cinematic adaptations to fathom more clearly the reasons for its fame, its targeted audience, and the message the brand is trying to get across via these seemingly juvenile storylines. This is also of importance because the notion of epic, of superheroes, is already something that has existed for a long time in literature; this scope of study of comics as well as the film adaptations is not too far off from this notion of graphic novel, but rather an extension of this notion. However, the acclaimed Stan Lee did not join the production team until the 1940's. Namor the Sub-Mariner and The Fantastic Four, were the first character and group to be created respectively. Following this, many other creations of characters and famous storylines came into being. It took a while for studios to eventually take Marvel story arcs and characters and put them on the big screen. It took a while longer for the Marvel movies to actually become famous like they are now.
