Intro The problems of stereotyping in the world today has become a serious wide-spread prevalence in daily life. The act of stereotyping has been defined “as personalized picture of specific person or group that is used represent them. This image can be a shortsighted opinion of them built on false or an unconscious prejudice view one may have”. (Webster Dic2018). In the world today the existence of stereotyping is out of control being found throughout people’s media and television programs. This presents a large issue with the sense that reality television has become such a large industry in entertainment that influence of these stereotyping. The question now is what the impact of these images and stereotypes is for women in real life society. So earlier research has proven that “viewer consumption of television does has at least some effect on their opinion of people.” (Ferguson, Modi, and, Salmond 2013). Realizing this we can look at determining the true extent of implication on society. The impact of this research tells us is creating or pushing on these false depiction onto reality in how society acts. This seen no transparent then how woman are depicted by the reality television programs in the U.S. Research has tried to identify an explanation behind this stereotyping looking at three things: first how women and image of femininity are stereotyped, second what are the demographics of these factors in women depiction, and third what these implication mean women in society. The reality television depiction of females has unsurprisingly change overtime but not perfected. The truth is according with most research shown women are placed in a negative in which they are degraded, sexualized, and dumbed.
