The idea behind the hunger games which was written by Suzanne Collins in 2012 is the theory that said we can neither create a wonderful picture about women and men nor destroy it, so the movie clip plays with stereotypes associated with gender by mixing ideals of femininity and masculinity between the characters. Basically, the short clip showed that president Snow who rules the capitol has a mind of fox because he was trying to convince Seneca Crane with only one winner, but it did not work. After the presenter announces that Katniss has won the examination that they did for the competitors, the reaction that they showed was not what everyone expected, so it is clearly for everyone to notice the concern on their faces. Furthermore, the conference that was held for competitors to show that they are prepared was just a lie because everyone sees their coffins in front of them, so everything was fake, and fans were just a slave trader. Moving forward, the beginning of the battle shows many attributes that make Katniss and Peeta have a combination ideals in their female and male traits, so the manipulation between genders is not an easy thing to do as long as our community treats every gender as what it created to be because it’s a nature thing.
