Both the Articles of Confederation and Constitution were an important part of history. They both share similarities and differences. The two documents, despite their similarities, caused many problems and a governmental divide. The similarities between the articles and constitution are limited.
By addressing the West’s outlook on Indigenous people, Emma Lee Warrior’s short story Compatriots dismantles the dominant view on Indigenous people, illustrating the ignorance of the West’s stereotypes. She creates characters which challenge the traditional archetypes of Indigenous people, demonstrates the apathy of the west, and highlights the troubles that fame brings Indigenous people. To begin, Lee Warrior breaks out of stereotypical archetypes of Indigenous people created from the westerners’ perspective. For instance, addressing the diversity within the Indigenous groups. One of the issues raised by the film was stereotypes against battered women. Most of the people interviewed were family members of Melvin who took his side. They represent the victim as someone nice and quiet who would not hurt anyone. They did not believe Shirley was being abused because of victim character as nice and quiet. They also give reasons such as there are no bruises on her face, they never saw them argue, and why didn 't she leave.

Throughout the war, the opinions of the younger lady inspectors were changing. They could no longer understand the desire of the senior inspectors to segregate their duties by gender. World War II (WWII) began on September 1, 1939 and ended September 2, 1945. The United States opted to stay neutral for the better part of two years at the start of the war, however after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Congress elected to go to war on December 8th, 1941. United States citizens rushed to join the charge and defend their country against its enemies. Rosie the Riveter became the image of a working woman on the homefront that many aspired to be. This image of the working woman doing the man's leftover job on the homefront is what many still see today when they picture a WWII women doing her part.
By her doing this, he claims that she had dishonored him. Mulan's father tells her that it would be an honor for him to be in this war. He would be protecting his country and his family's honor. Stereotypes have created a distortion in the eyes of society. It has affected many of lives and will continue to do so. One of these many victims, are military spouses. For countless of years, military spouses have been told they got married for the benefits, that they are dumb, and depend on their spouse to take care of them financially. Military spouses have had to deal with societies standards, while the media provides civilians an unrealistic view of what being a military spouse is really all about by promoting negative stereotypes.
Stereotypes is something that should never be a problem in the world today because we are all human. Even though we are all humans some are different color, come from different back grounds, and have different beliefs, but; however that shouldn’t change how we view people. In the play The Domestic Crusaders the characters react to stereotypes and are also stereotypical themselves. People really started being stereotypical towards Muslims ever since 9/11 happened. We thought that all Muslims were terrorist and that they were all here to just cause problems, and we all started judging them by not only what they wore on their heads but also their beliefs and how they went about their days with prayers.
I strongly agree with Suderman and his allegations regarding the DC movies and how they are made. Given that making the movies the action scene are to a “t”, but the characters and their background are greatly unrecognized, as well as their appearances. As an example just as Suderman proclaims, the movie Suicide Squad doesn’t focus on one thing, but rather veers off into several different scenes creating some confusion throughout the movie. A little of history of each character is barley to almost never established along with not furthering the plot.
There are so many military stereotypes that are found in movies and online and many that are quite wrong. One of the biggest is that soldiers in the military are of inferior intelligence, and that school drop outs and those with bad grades join the military for something to do. This is an insult to everything military, many duties and occupations offered require a high school degree of intelligence.

There’s misconceptions about woman in certain career fields, including the military. Consequently, older generations or certain cultures and or genders may be the ones who fathom this fallacy. Since the 19th century women have served in nursing and clerical positions in the military. Thru the years, women have slowly begun to advance into other opportunities. In 1993 President Bill Clinton signed a bill allowing woman into combat, this bill was intended to end excluding woman from combat situations.
What is the greatest issue facing women in America today? This is a difficult question to answer but it can be reasonably assumed that domestic violence is one of the strongest front runners. More than 4 million women experience domestic violence each year in the United States, meaning that 1 in 4 women will face this issue in their lifetimes (Safe Horizon). In the last largest study on domestic violence it was found that intimate partner violence made up 20% of all nonfatal violent crime committed against women in 2001 and accounted for 33% of all female murders (American Bar Association). Two thirds of females killed by firearms were killed by their intimate partners and this is three times higher than the total number of males murdered by
The next heroine not only breaks the typical gender stereotypes but also revolutionises the superhero movie genre. Wonder Woman was brought to the big screen in 2017 and made by female director Patty Jenkins. What is more, the premiere of the movie made a history since Wonder Woman had the biggest weekend opening for a female director, bringing in more than $100 million. Although female superheroes have always been present in cinema they have been limited in their exposure and always outnumbered by males. What really distinguishes Wonder Woman as a female superhero is that she is the first heroine belonging to a superhero team who was granted with her own separate movie.
