• The black women stereotypes are negative ones. They portray black women as loud, ghetto, negative, and promiscuous. These negative stereotypes affect how women are viewed by other women and men. Black woman are premeditatedly judged before walking into a room. They have to right through the stereotype then fight for their respect.
• I would agree with the representation 100%. Everyone disrespected former First Lady Michelle Obama for wearing a sleeveless dress, while current First Lady Melanie Trump appeared completely naked on magazine covers and received no backlash. Watching the news and noticed the subtitles and heading for whites vs blacks have shaped my experience.

When being disrespected or discriminated against black women have a reason to be angry. Black women go through too much to not have an excuse to stand up for themselves.
Strength
• Nowadays, I would consider the myth of unique strength of Black women to be a positive one. With woman paving the way and showing little black girls what a black woman can do, provides a positive strength for black women
• If you do what you want to do in life and stand up for what you believe in, then you’re a strong. In addition, overcoming adversity and obstacles make you a stronger person. I have done all of that and consider myself strong.
• I take care of myself mentally and physically by relaxing on my days off and making sure I am not over worked. I will just sit in bed and watch Netflix for a few hours just to get myself rejuvenated for the next day.
Health
• The role models and great black women showing others how to embrace themselves can explain this disparity. Black women hold each other up and give each other confidence. From observation, I do not see that in the white community.
