to our world the "definition" of man or woman is based on our size, color of skin and not so much intelligence anymore, except for men, it is all about their success and achievements. There are magazines of women so skinny and "perfectly shaped" on how they want them to be. I then automatically think that is how we should look that is how I want to look. I asked my sister what she thought of the magazines and the women on them and she said "I wish I looked like that". Seeing these magazines since being born and how the women are portrayed is just a normal thing for me my sister to want to look like that because people think that is beautiful. Women are seen as sex toys, as for men its about their success and how they did what they did.

Then when you see videos of the women on social media sites you realize that none of them are the size that is portrayed on the magazine covers. In Maximum magazine covers, the women are basically naked, theyre in nothing but swimsuit or bras and underwear. Women are set out to be sex toys and to me it seems as if that’s all the words sees women as, not educated smart healthy women that are capable of anything but all we see them as half naked women or "perfect" bodies.
Now men on the other hand are not objectified as sex toys on magazines. The Esquire magazine shows wealthy men and a few I looked at closer talked about the men's talents and successes. On some covers it says "Eat like a man" without showing a hald naked man to prove why they should eat like a man. When on other magazines that are talking about women and eating healthy almost always shows a half naked woman with a jump rope or in a sports bra with two to three pages for workouts and or healthy food meals.
I do not read magazines for these reasons they are never about anything that is important it seems to always be things such as; women should look like this, here's what she did, or half
