This paper discusses about the stereotyping of women in sport and the ways of media coverage for women’s sports. The study of sport industry is not a new issue; most of the sports programs are focused on men rather than women (Messner and Sabo, 1990). Physical strength and stamina between men and women in sport had make men dominate in the sport industry. The study of the Sport, Men, and the Gender Order: Critical Feminist Perspectives found that (Messner and Sabo, 1990), the relationship between male and female in sports can reveal interesting findings. The research of the relationship between human’s historical and contemporary sports showing that, sports is squint towards to unify men in the domination of women. Therefore, women’s movement into sport industry is a challenge to for female to male dominated industry. To catch the public’s eye balls, so the media are simply providing coverage sports news based on “what the fans want to see”, for example men’s sports (Cooky, Messner and Hextrum, 2010). The sport news that build and establish are reported to demand the requirements of audience. Therefore, the men’s sports will always be the main news to be publishing in the media, so this had limited the audience interest on the women’s sports. Moreover, the controversy of Muslim women especially those from Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar and further more have gain the limitation of media on women sport coverage (Morshedi, 2012).
