In the year 1976, the company Apple Computer was founded in the garage of a family home. The company was founded by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, who funded their effort by selling some of their prized possessions. During this time, very few people knew what a computer was, or how to work one. These two men are credited for revolutionizing technology and making it available to all people. After this, Steve Jobs continued to altruistically work with a main focus of revolutionizing the world throughout his life.
Steve Paul Jobs was born on February 24th, 1955 to his biological parents Joanne Schieble and Abdulfattah "John" Jandali, who had decided to put him up for adoption. He was adopted by Clara and Paul Jobs, where his father worked with him on electronics. As they worked together, Steve developed his prowess in technology ("Steve Jobs Biography"). With the minds of both Wozniak and Jobs, Apple Computer became a publicly traded company; with a market value of $1.2 billion ("Steve Jobs Biography"). As more versions of the Apple computer were released; marketing was flawed as it was developed as a home computer, but was too expensive for the average consumer. Steve then tried to market it as a business computer; but it had none of the features or hardware expectations that corporate America wanted. This event caused a clash with Apple's board of directors, and in 1983, he was ousted from the company by CEO John Sculley, whom Jobs handpicked to help him run Apple ("Steve Jobs: An Extraordinary Career"). Undeterred, Steve went on to launch NeXT Computer Co., Pixar Animation Studios, and develop technology such as the iMac and
