From the very first telephone to the hand held iPhone 7, our technology has advanced tremendously over the past century. A famous innovator that helped change our everyday lives with his innovation is Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs co-founded Apple with Steve Wozniak with the help of others to help the company grow into a booming business. Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955, in San Francisco, California. After being put up for adoption by two University of Wisconsin graduates, Steve was later adopted by Clara and Paul Jobs. Growing up as a kid, Steve liked to spend time with his father, Paul, and work on electronics along with other related activities in the family garage. When Jobs was 21, he and Wozniak created the Apple Computer. But in order to fund for their entrepreneurial career, Jobs had to sell his Volkswagen bus and Wozniak had to sell his favorite scientific calculator. This just goes to show that Steve Jobs was willing to give up his own personal belongings in order to help his future business succeed. After selling Apple computers out to the public for $666.66, which earned the Apple I company $774,000. In spite of creating the Apple computer, Steve Jobs left the company he co-founded, due to executive problems, and began creating new hardware and software which was called NeXT Inc. In addition he began working in the Pixar Animation studios. Steve was so confident in Pixar that he invested $50 million of his own money into the company. Pixar soon went on to produce popular movies such as Toy Story and Finding Nemo which netted $4 billion and also helped the studio merge with Walt Disney, making Steve Jobs the largest Disney
