Steve was one of the greatest technological innovators of our time. He is very appropriately called the 'Father of the Digital World'. He was the legendary, futurist, visionary who made it his mission to humanize technology and make it a lifestyle product. His focus on innovation and perfection led him to change the big, bulky, loathsome computers used by a few tech geeks to an immaculate work of art used by almost every person today. To begin with, Steve jobs was different. He liked to question conventional norms and he could convince you anything. A former Apple employee once said, "If you did not look up for a second Steve could convince you that the sky was green." He believed that the consumer did not know what they wanted until they saw it. Before 1998, nobody knew that a computer could be creative and be used in every facet of our lives, by every person, young or old, educated or not so educated. Before 2001, nobody knew that music could be stored in a tiny device and before 2007 nobody knew the phone could be used as a computer. When Steve made the iPod he changed the way people listen to music. He proved how you did not need to carry a bulky Walkman to listen to your favorite tunes. Steve had the ingenious idea of putting a computer based hard drive into a miniature device. Nobody thought that was even possible. Today, the carpenters and drivers and plumbers in places from India to China use their phones to do their business and grow their incomes.
