Sure, Steve Jobs may have founded Apple, but is that all people really know about his life-long technological crusade? Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak were the two high schoolers that built Apple Computer from the ground up. Steve was one of the first people to make a big corporation in San Francisco, which later became Silicon Valley. The story of Steve Jobs from birth to where he was in Apple Co. is a story of how a small group of people created one of the highest earnings in history. On February 24, 1955, a child was born by a professor and a college graduate who later gave him up for adoption. Woz was a "computer wizard" along with Steve, so when Woz busted in their dorm telling Steve he had blueprints for a "blue box" Steve was all in. A blue box is a little box that manipulates AT&T's cell towers and let's you place free calls. And so, Apple Computers became the first of many personal computer companies. They didn't take long to start on the Apple II, seeing as how the Apple I had made a giant impact and profits. The Apple II was to be used with a XEROX PARC mouse-guided interface. Apple had become a big hit with it being one of the only sellers of personal computers at the time. Eventually though, Jobs had quit his job as CEO of Apple and created a new business. He named this new company NeXT Computer. The first thing that NeXT made was the computer called the NeXT Cube. NeXT was to be the first competitor with Apple Computer, until their first product failed, miserably. Later, NeXT bought a animation company from George Lucas, which was later known as “Pixar”.
