Over the past few decades Steve Jobs has created some of the most revolutionary inventions that changed the way people live. Steve Jobs written by Walter Isaacson has the theme good ideas lead to rewards. My first argument is taking risks when starting Apple and creating the Apple l. Then gaining reputation through Pixar and Steve creating Pixar's headquarters. Lastly Steve’s approach and him getting fired from his own company then latter getting rehired. When Steve Jobs joined Pixar, the company made the movie A bug's life and was a big hit for Pixar. “ It did twice as well as Antz at the box office grossing $163 million domestically and $363 million worldwide.” (429). Antz was a similar movie created by DreamWorks which was released around the same time but A bug’s life was a better movie. When Pixar’s success was assured, Steve along with the Pixar company decided to build a headquarter. “The Pixar building was Steve’s own movie.” (430). When Steve got fired from Apple the company started losing sales. “ For the fiscal year that ended when Jobs became interim CEO in September 1997, Apple lost $1.04 billion.” (339). At the end of that year Steve returned and became “ICEO”. But before that Microsoft started gaining sales from its application software. When Jobs came back, the company started gaining profit from a new product strategy. “After two years of staggering losses, Apple had enjoyed a profitable quarter, making $45 million.
