Later, Steve Jobs, Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne founded Apple Computer. Ronald Wayne left Apple early 1977, later that year, Wozniak and Jobs introduced the Apple II at West Coast Computer Faire. On May 17, 1978, Steve Jobs’ daughter was born. Jobs hid the plans for his new computer from his wife because he wanted to name the computer after his daughter. In 1983, Jobs released the Apple Lisa, which was named after his daughter, Lisa Brennan. Later Life After he left Apple in 1985, Steve Jobs founded NeXT. A year after he founded NeXT, he started running out of money. Luckily for Steve, a billionaire named Ross Perot invested in the company. The NeXT computer was advanced in technology, it had new technology, including the Mach Kernel, the digital signal processor chip, and the ethernet port. In 1996 Apple bought NeXT for $427 million dollars. In 2003 Steve Jobs was diagnosed with cancer. A few years after Steve got cancer Apple revealed the iPhone.
