The abuse on children has a huge impact on the child and his community. This impacts could be long-term or short-term depending on the level of trauma and pain. Psychological issues are serious and could destroy the child life. "Stevie documentary" introduced a young man from Illinois with the background of child abuse. The filmmaker argued that the physical and psychological abuse on children leads to personality damages and other long-term effects on the child. The film was great in a sense of the delivery and providing an advice to parents. It was really close to the reality that many deny exists, the story that has to be told. There was a social issue that should be avoided and many parents should take care of it. Stevie's story tells the reason why there are a lot of children in juvenile. The characters in the film did not fake anything; everything was normal as if there is no camera. The film could put you in a stressful or depressed mood and not everybody could handle the tragedy. However, the quality of the movie was good and make you engage in the movie because it feels like real, it give a feeling that you are in the movie. It honest and doesn't pontificate, it presents difficult setups with enough force to shock you but never revels in the pain it presents. There is a moment where I thought that his mother is faking her emotion and just showing the camera that she loves Stevie, but I don't think so and also I don't want to judge her.
