A delay in the implementation of the listed functional strategies will result in a delay in the business level and corporate level strategies. A delay could result in StilSim to continue to lose its competitive advantage and market share. To improve the productivity and communication, all three branch managers and Bill Simmons will need to work together to make improvements. To improve the back-office systems, Todd Worthlin will need to work with Capital Staffing’s IT department. Carlos Martinez will work to create a brand image through marketing. She brought a client rolodex to StilSim, that was taken from a previous employer. Another legal issue is if Bill Simmons or any other manager knew of the client rolodex. This not only a legal issue but also an ethical issue. Sue Maxim has also been accused of unethical practices. She has been accused of poaching accounts from other employees. There is an ethical issue with the acquisitions of Capital Staffing that includes fair severance and possibility of the closure of offices.
