You see Jimmy, there is so much to learn about Ancient Rome, the Geography, Mythology, Political rights, the Emperors, and so much more. As you journey along the road of how Ancient Rome came to be, join me to discover The Story of Rome. First, you must know about Claudia. Claudia is a young girl who was born and grew up in the city of Rome and is eager to learn more about the culture and society, just like you Jimmy! Patricians made up 5-10 percent of the population. They led all of Rome's political, economic, and social life. However, the other 90-95 percent, or the Plebeians, could not participate in politics and were mostly shopkeepers, craftsmen, laborers, and peasants. They could not marry Patricians and they could not be priests or hold political office. The Plebeians wanted a say in politics and needed more privileges.
