Pleasant Bluffs: Launching A Home-Base Hospital Program While analyzing the case on Pleasants Bluffs, the main problem is how will they come up with a proposal for the pilot program for Pleasant Bluffs home-base hospital care and how to manage it. According to the case, it stated that Graff Salot, the director of Performance Improvement (PI), at Pleasant Bluffs Health System, is tasked with making these changes. (Erskine,2016) Therefore some potential solution might be to complete this task, he must first hired more people for administrative, and clinical. By doing this, will help to better manage the PI department and patients.
We continuously strive to improve the health of the community we serve and become the provider of choice for Health Care delivery and education" (Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, 2012). The biggest gripe that anyone should have with this is just how generic it sounds. This mission statement does nothing to make this organization stand out from any other ones in the area. On top of this, there was no vision statement to be found. Even though it does mention is it a safety net hospital, there a good chance that the people they serve would not understand what this means, It is something that needs to be stated in plain terms.
Continuous and efficient strategic planning for the medical center can help the organization adjust through persistent research and education. Restructuring for the better can also occur with a successful strategic plan, given the long-standing number of years it has been servicing Orange County. Overall, the most significant benefit to a well-constructed strategic plan lies within the organization's direction towards their overarching goal: To provide up-to-date, high quality, and affordable health care to its

Lately, I watched the documentary “RX the Quiet Revolution” by David Grubin. I found it a very interesting movie that introduced us to a different health care delivery system by lowering the cost and increasing the quality. The movie discussed the challenges in the health care delivery system in America and the transformations that are being made to make the patient at the center of the care with a lower cost. Dr. Douglas Eby, the VP of medical services at Southcentral Foundation, started the movie with a good example of the rock, bird and target.

The United States health system cannot be described as a single-payer national health insurance system or a multi-payer universal health insurance system but can be described as a hybrid system ("The U.S. Health Care System: An International Perspective", 2016). Though United States healthcare system is one of the robust systems in the world it has both considerable strengths and weaknesses and this paper tries to evaluate them while suggesting improvements to current policies.
