Book Review Of Struggles Of A Dreamer

Many books have absorbed and engaged with me, but the paperback “Struggles of a Dreamer” has taught me a significant message already, even though I have read a few pages. The novel “Struggles of a dreamer” falls with the genres of adventure and mystery. If you read on, I will be talking more about a short summary of what I have been reading, strategies of what I used and thoughts of the story at the moment also including the characters. I personally have met the author while he was selling his book at Chapters and I must say he has done a large amount of effort into the novel. The story commences as the main character Tunde is in the hot sun of New York City begging for money near the Trump tower. One day, a car pulls up to Tunde’s spot, and he became curious to see who it was. The woman who came out of the car gave Tunde an envelope which made Tunde’s emotions of misery turn into gratitude. After she left, Tunde rushed with excitement to a deserted place to see what was in the envelope. His reaction was filled with anger and disappointment when he saw what was inside the envelope. I have been mistreated by multiple people and insulted for no exact reason. I am wondering if Tunde had a family life before he suffered from poverty? I can also visualize how the characters look and the setting by the help of the author’s writing style. In page 2, their first sentence starts with “It was a hot and humid on another busy day in New York City. People, the young and the old, rushed up and down the sidewalks, and hundreds of yellow cabs filled the streets, honking impatiently for the cars in front to move forward, so they could deliver their passengers.” This sentence actually makes me visualize the streets of New York City by how descriptive the author was, which actually helps me and plenty of other readers. These are some very helpful strategies, I used while reading this
