College Activities Study Abroad Program in Germany (Spring 2016) • I am currently studying abroad in Germany to further my knowledge of the German language and support my college degree. I am studying German and History Secondary Education at Boise State right now and my study abroad program credits are working toward my German major. In my five months in a foreign country, I will hopefully gather memories to use in my future career as a teacher. I was in charge of making sure all items in the store were priced and keeping sale signs up to date. As a part of normal employee duties, I also worked every day with customers making sure they were finding everything they needed and helped with furniture sales. I also assisted my supervisor in running the day to day operations in the store. High School Extracurricular Activities Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) (Fall 2013-Spring 2014) • Active member of FCCLA. Participated in RAKE UP BOISE and helped run activities at the Watch Dog program at Sienna K-8. Community/ Volunteer Service Teen Advisory Board for the Meridian Library at Cherry Lane (TAB) (Fall 2013-Spring 2014) • President (Fall 2013 –Spring 2014) Regulated meetings in which we plan future teen library activities for example: book club and summer reading programs. This year of TAB was the first year and also the year of the remodel of the Teen Space so we helped plan the remodel and set up how TAB will be run in future years.
