Being a successful AP student can be a lot of work, and sometimes it is not fun, but the reward is worth the pain. Many people are AP students and there are many different views on what it takes to be an accomplished one. The all-time best way to become successful in any AP class is the simple tactic of repetition. Repetition will get you through the year with good grades and successful preparation, and it will be most beneficial when it comes to test time.
During the school year everybody gets into the routine of doing the same things each day. We wake up, we get ready, we go to school, we come home. This is a process that occurs five days a week for about 9 months. This repetition is what gets us prepared for each day and what we look at for the expectations of the day. In an AP class you learn new things every day. To retain this information you have to practice it from day one till test time. Professional sports players are great examples of repetition. To become superb at their job they have to do the same things over and over and over again till the point that when the situation comes in a game they just go through that same routine once again.
