“Sugar Dating”: Moral or Normal? College tuition is on the rise. Money is a huge factor when it comes to choosing which college a student goes to. Some think when it comes to college, naturally, debt comes with it. This is not the case. With good financial planning a college degree can be achieved without debt. How? Many female students in universities all across America have turned to “sugar dating” to help pay for college tuition (Lynn, Alicia). This raises the question of what “sugar dating” is. “Sugar dating” is when a male financially or materially improves a female's lifestyle with affection in-return (Sugar Matchmaking). Once signed up for these websites, a questionnaire must be filled out with one’s likes, dislikes, aspirations, and physical description about them. Not only do they fill out information about them, but they also make it clear about what they want to gain from a “sugar dating” relationship and what they expect from the other.
