Why do you think Romeo committed suicide? “Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare is a story of two lovers, in the city of Verona, Italy, both part of opposing families. Romeo Montague and his new lover Juliet Capulet both eventually kill themselves because they can no longer see each other, then Romeo hear falses new about Juliet and kills himself.
