I believe I meet the essential criteria laded out in the personal specification as in the qualifications side of the spec it states business or marketing degree or similar and a demonstration of on going professional development. I’ve currently just finished studying for my BA Business Management degree at the University of Westminster, which I achieved a 2:1. In relation to the on going professional development, I became an eMentor in my final year of studying to 1st year students. This was a challenging and difficult task to do, as I had to balance this with my studies and will obtain a certificate from the Higher Education Achievement Record (HEAR). In addition to this I also applied from a grant during my final year to help me fulfill a course in TEFL. TEFL is a qualification, which allows me to teach English aboard. Out of 1200 students only 14 were granted the funds, which I had to write an essay and application for.
