Summary: Bedroom Observation

4:05 PM -I arrived at Diana Gitonga, Dwayne Gitonga, Durone Gitonga’s apartment. The living room, bathroom, bedroom and kitchen are clean. Sally Sesay is on the patio with Durone. Dwayne is on the couch playing his video game and eating takeout. Ms. Gitonga is on the phone.
4:11 PM-Durone comes in the living room and starts doing his homework. Dwayne talks to Ms. Sesay on the patio.
4:15 PM- Ms. Gitonga gets off the phone.
4:20 PM- Ms. Sesay leaves the apartment.
4:30 PM- Ms. Gitonga gets back on the phone. Durone is watching cartoons on his phone. Dwayne is playing his game.
4:45 PM- Dwayne is playing his game. Durone is watching cartoons on his phone. Me. Gitonga is working on the computer and making phone calls.
5:00 PM-Durone is watching cartoons on his phone. Dwayne is playing his game. Ms. Gitonga is working on the computer.
5:15 PM- Ms. Gitonga realizes Durone has stopped doing his

Ms. Gitonga gives Durone back his phone and headphone. He is back in the living room. Ms. Gitonga gets on the computer.
5:36 PM- Ms. Gitonga asked the boys if they want to go outside. They Durone said, “Yes” but Dwayne said, “No”. So they stayed in the house.
5:41 PM- Dwayne comes out of the bathroom. Durone is on the phone and Ms. Gitonga is on the computer.
6:00 PM- Dwayne is on the laptop looking up something for school. Durone is watching cartoons. Ms. Gitonga gets off the desktop to help Dwayne with his homework.
6:15 PM- Durone show Ms. Gitonga and Dwayne the show he is watching.
6:30 PM- Ms. Gitonga is in the Kitchen make the boys a snack. They are in the kitchen telling her what they want to eat (Campbell Soup). Durone says he does not want to eat. Ms. Gitonga asked, “What did you eat today?” He said, “juice for breakfast and a hot dog for lunch.” She gives him the soup and He ate it.
6:45 PM-Dwayne is doing his homework on the laptop. Ms. Gitonga tells Durone to get in the shower when he is done
