PURPOSE The goal of this lab was to build a mousetrap powered car. The mousetrap car needed to travel fifteen feet. The purpose of building these mousetrap cars was to demonstrate our knowledge of motion, friction, force, distance, and energy. We have studied these concepts, and each one is a factor in the success of a mousetrap car.
During this Era there was quite a few new inventions that came out. A couple were television sets, newer radios, telephones, and (of all things that was produced at this time this item was the biggest) which of are automobiles. Automobiles were new to that mark and they boomed everyone who saw them off ads or television ads wanted one. But, with this large boom America started to be affected by these changes.

Cummins is a global corporation made up of complementary business units that design, manufacture, distribute, and service diesel engines, natural gas engines, and related technologies, which include power generation systems, fuel systems, filtration, and emission solutions. AutoZone’s has incorporated a strategic that is comprised of internal and external growth. However, they are not immune to economic downturns that impact their operations. The company has strengthened their portfolio via external and internal growth. Their external growth could be directly contributed to horizontal-related integration with the acquisitions of Chief Auto Parts and Adap’s 112 Auto Place Stores. These acquisitions increased AutoZone’s footprint out of the South and Southeast into California and the Northeast.
Today NASA's Cassini spacecraft will zoom close to Saturn's moon Enceladus in an attempt to fly through a plume of icy spray thrown up from the alien world's surface. This flyby will shed light on new research published this week suggesting that Enceladus, sixth largest of many moons that orbit the famous ringed planet, has a core that is similar to primitive meteorites found on Earth. Caritas Australia has developed into one of the leading Catholic agencies for International aid and development. Working with Indigenous Australians and developing nations in the Pacific, Africa and Asia, Caritas supports over 200 countries and territories with emergency aid and grassroots programs. The history of Caritas began with one man, by the name of Lorenz Werthmann. This young priest founded the first Caritas association in Cologne, Germany during 1897. As a priest, Werthmann identified the need for an organisation that would assist the marginalised in their lives.

The film Mad Max: Fury Road (George Miller, 2015) explores a dystopia created by patriarchal dominance and gender inequality. However, it shifts the dystopian outlook by destroying the patriarch Immortan Joe thus allowing it to transform into, as Taylor Boulware states, a ‘feminist Utopia.’ The way this is done in Mad Max is through the empowerment of female characters through reversal of gender roles. Also, the ‘feminist Utopia’ in Mad Max is like Sarah Scott’s Millenium Hall – such as exclusion of most males and valuing female philanthropy.
