The first step we should take to solve this problem is to look at countries that don’t face the same issue that Canada’s facing and observe why they don’t have this issue in their healthcare system. These countries tend to have more resources and a higher availability of equipment, care beds and health care providers (Viberg, 2013). In summary, there is no ideal healthcare system that works for all countries. When Canadian and American healthcare is being compared together, both have their advantages and disadvantages. In particular, even though the US healthcare system is able to provide the highest quality of medical services, it certainly has problems, such as the limited number of people that are insured. By citizens only having access to care through insurance, it limits the amount of people who are able to, or willing, to be treated.
