There are many conflicts that arise in the story that can play a huge role in the plot. Kate does not know why she is called to her daughter Amelia’s school. Amelia is enrolled in a private school and her mom thinks she is a perfect child and would never do anything wrong. To her surprise it is not that her child is in trouble it’s that her child is dead.
