The story is about man’s ability to overcome the medical model of dealing with a disability. Healing with the mind is one of the amazing tool to overcome anything. It is not only about the story, Cousins’s beliefs proved that if you are fighting for something, you can get it. I am currently suffering an insomnia and I use most of the time some pills to sleep. After reading the book I turn to natural methods to overcome this issue. For this reason, these beliefs inspired to change. Controlling your health sometime is difficult with out using strategies.
