As humans began to develop, they found different ways of thinking, believing, and behaving. There are many types of believing, like Jewish, Muslim, Buddhism, Christian; different ways of political systems such as capitalism and communism; or different ways of expressing/identification themself like homosexual, heterosexual, and transsexual. They are all human diversity. Eventually, some people decide to discriminate, segregate ore even kill the people that were different from them. One of those kind of people were the Nazis. They want to eliminate all the people that weren’t “pure” or nationalist. This is what causes the World War II. At that time, there was a Jewish girl, called Anne Frank, that wrote a diary of all the things that were happening in that time to her and her family. In this book report, I will explain a summary of the diary, the symbols, the point of view, the climax, the theme, the genre, and my opinion. Anne Frank was born in a small town called Frankfurt in Germany, on June 12, 1929. She had a very normal life. On her thirteenth birthday, Anne received a diary from his parents. Anne’s family lived in Germany, and because of the Nazis situation, Otto Frank and his wife Edith decide, just as many other German Jews, to leave Germany. They moved to Amsterdam into a place called the annex. Then Mr. Van Daan, Mrs. Van Daan, and Peter Van Daan, a family friend of the Franks, moved with them.
