Atticus a well known lawyer in the little town of Maycomb in the book To Kill a Mockingbird. He comes up against a tough, rock solid case including an African American man and a young woman who grew up in poverty. Atticus has trust in the power in using the three models of rhetoric. Ethos,Pathos and Logos to prove to the jury that his client is innocent and can walk out of court that day a free man. (Lee).

They can be difficult at many moments , but Atticus handles them very well. He shows his unique tactics of parenting throughout the book. Atticus is the epitome of a role model by demonstrating love, leadership, and discipline to his children. Mr. Finch shows his vast love for his kids in many instances during the book. Scout says "anything Atticus happened to be reading when I crawled into his lap every night."
In the novel To Kill A Mockingbird, written by Harper Lee, many different characters are compared to a mockingbird due to the fact that these characters show peacefulness and tranquility. Harper Lee states that: "Mockingbirds don't do one thing but make music for us to enjoy. They don't eat up people's gardens, don't nest in corncribs, the only thing they do is sing their hearts out for us, That's why it's a sin to kill a mockingbird” (Lee 93). This quote shows that a mockingbird is peaceful. This bird provides good qualities.

Disregarding The Fact That You Already Lost In the book To Kill a Mockingbird written by Harper Lee, Atticus is a father of two kids who has integrity. He is a man who stands on his own opinions even if it is against the majority of the society. Although most of the citizens in the Maycomb County are against blacks, he is willing to protect and fully give all of his power to defend Tom Robinson, a Negro who is in trial. He strongly believes that Tom is innocent and deserves to have a fair fight because “…he’s a member of Calpurnia’s church, and Cal knows his family well” (Lee 100).
Atticus Finch is one of the most steadfastly honest and moral characters in To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. His character remains, for the most part, unchanged throughout the novel. Atticus overcomes prejudice through courage, tolerance and standing up for what he believes in. Atticus serves as the moral conscience of Maycomb, a man of all people-white and black, rich and poor, who cannot tell a lie, treats all people equally and rarely has a bad word to say about anyone. Although Atticus’s daughter, Scout is the narrator and the story mostly revolve after Atticus’s children, Scout and Jem, Atticus emerges as the central and most powerful figure.

Atticus Finch is a lawyer who lives in Maycomb, Alabama during the 1930s, a time of great oppression and racism. He is a widow and has two children, a boy named Jem and a girl named Jean Louise, also known as Scout. Atticus has been called to defend a colored man named Tom Robinson who was accused of raping a white woman, Mayella Cunningham. In his closing arguments, Atticus Finch wants the jury and his community to understand the societal problems of oppression in order to persuade readers to treat people who are different from them with empathy and understanding. He does this by utilizing imagery, hyperbole, and repetition.
A lot of people around the world think of race as the color of their skin, when race is a group that shares physical traits. When looking at people you’re looking at their physical appearances such as their eyes, height, hair, nose etc. This is what separates one group from another. Within race you have ethnicity “which is a person origin, language and / or cultural religious practices.” Since ethnicity is based on self identity other groups may not accept or acknowledge a person who doesn’t speak their language.
