In chapter 10 of The Blue Sweater, this was written by Jacqueline Novogratz, the one thing that captivated me was Honorata’s endurance. Novogratz narrates Honorata was a tutis. When the war began, Honorata and her husband and their children left their home and moved to stay with her twin sister called Anuziata in Nyamirambo. During the war, one solider came to Anuziata’s home and ordered them to come out of the house. The men were asked to stand at the left and the women and children should stand the right.
In chapter 10 of the 3rd rule from, Bud,Not Buddy. bud introduce the rule 87 for bud to thrive. It help bud by: “He said, “ I’ve got a problem and i need you to help me figure it out.” This rule is about, “When a adults tells you they need your help with a problem get ready to be trick most times this means they just want you to go fetch something for them.”
Another example of extreme bullying was when Andy took Stephan to a bridge where they assaulted him and disrespected him. During this point in time, the town began to trust Stephan and Frank because they realized that they were nice people that caused no harm. However, in the eyes of Andy and the other pitiful teens, they thought Stephan was a mistake from God and was disgraceful to Christianity. With this, Andy displayed extreme bullying as he ‘whipped [Stephan] back and forth” and was eventually swung over the bridge where he took his last breath (Greene 141).
The Whipping Boy is a Newberry award-winning book by Sid Fleischman that follows the story of Prince Brat (as he is known by everyone behind his back) and his whipping boy, Jemmy as they embark upon an action packed adventure when they run away from the castle. The chapters in this book are short and include a few pictures. The story is pretty action packed as it happens in about a twenty-four hour period. The story has a good moral to it about two unlikely friends from different backgrounds coming together, learning more about each other, changing their ways, and becoming friends.
At the meeting with the Nabozny family and a number of the boys who Jamie had accused of bullying, the Principal took the word of the bullies and then also later told Jamie Nabozny that if he continued to be out about his sexual orientation at school, the bullying would continue. The bullies faced no disciplinary actions and the harassment continued. Following a number of bullies verbally abusing him, inappropriately touching him and then enacting a mock rape[1][4][5] while the rest of his class watched, Nabozny went to the principal who told him that "boys will be boys"[6][7] and admonished him for entering her office without an appointment. The continued bullying at middle school led to Nabozny attempting suicide, after which he refused to return to middle school. At high school, the same bullies returned and the harassment continued.
He's not a bully, but more of a delinquent. He uses sarcasm and crude jokes to channel his aggression. He has a rough life at home and insinuates that he is abused by his father. He jokes around and acts wild to deal with the suffering he goes through at home. This causes the others around him to have a false perception of him.
The underlying truth is the few who experience being bully their voice are taken away to fight against the cruelty, a piece of themselves and security are gone. According to Eleanor Gold’s article Vampires in the Lemon Grove – Karen Russell states, “Eric Mutis has been the favorite subject of Larry’s physical and emotional bullying” (Gold). Larry was uses to Eric’s fear of him, and the bullying became inevitable nor did he tries to stop Larry and his friends. Eric accepts the pain, even when Eric trust Larry about the situation with the rabbit, Larry became a fake friend and betray Eric at the end. In other words, Larry’s bullying is a sign of loss of innocence, Larry takes his anger out of every rich kid he and his friends come across.

An example of bullying towards Junior is when he transfers schools, and starts attending Reardan. A kid named Roger makes a very racist joke where his friends laugh at him and the other kids all think he is weird when he first starts attending. Junior says that he, “felt like Roger had kicked [him] in the face,” (64) and so, he punched Roger in the face. Another way that Junior is bullied in the novel is back before he left the reservation. The Andruss brothers - John, Jim and Joe - , “ the cruelest triplets in the history of the world,” (20) saw Junior and called him many names like , “Hydromatic, Hydrocarbon, Hydrocrack, Hydrodynamic,” (21) and many more.
I got into my first fistfight when I was three years old, and I’d been in dozens since” (Alexie 23). So, when Roger insulted him, Junior instinctively responded with harsh force. It's challenging to adjust to a new environment with unfamiliar social norms. Nonetheless, it's understandable that someone might continue to follow the rules they were raised with, regardless of their surroundings. Furthermore, Junior's behavior was influenced by Roger's actions.
The book I read Woods Runner by Gary Paulsen. Woods Runner is historical fiction. At the beginning of the book it introduces a 13 year old named Samuel. Samuel was always in the woods hunting for food for his family.
