Beyond Scared Straight is a television show that is a documentary about youth that complete the program because of juvenile delinquency. The closure of information to public view is limiting due the nature of the television series. As a way to conduct the research, Beyond Scared Straight will be the independent variable. Its focus is more to stress the morbidly devastating difficulties that await the youths provided they continue their actions as opposed to a readily available source for research.
