Ender’s Game is the story of a young boy named Andrew Wiggin (Ender). Since his birth he is an outcast. The government has set a law that only allows couples to have a max of two children. Ender was the third child of his parents. At the same time the government is monitoring children, with a chip in their heads, for potential warriors and leaders who they could use in a war against extraterrestrials (Buggers). His siblings, Peter and Valentine, had fallen just short of what the government was in search off. The government had high hopes that the third child would be the “one” so they authorized his parents to bear another. Once Stilson let Ender go, Ender kicked him in the chest, knocking him down and then Ender repeatedly kicked him when he was on the ground. Ender ended up killing Stilson unintentionally. Later on, during supper the Wiggins received a visit from government officials wanting to have a conversation with Ender. They asked him why he kept kicking Stilson while he was on the ground and Ender told them if he hadn’t stopped the bullying it would have gotten worse. The answer Ender gave them was exactly what they were looking for so they talked to his parents explain that Ender was chosen to be sent to their Battle School up in space. They determined Ender must be isolated but he must also be able to have people be willing to follow him. They need him to be the next Mazer Rackham, he led the victory over the Buggers when they had come to Earth. During the trip, up to Battle School Ender found himself sitting in front of a boy, Bernard who kept hitting him in the head and does not have his seat belt on. Ender takes action and grabbed Bernard’s arm causing him to leave his seat and this time they are in space so the boy keeps floating through the shuttle until he hits a wall and breaks his arm. Once the kids (launchies) arrive to Battle School they are taken to their living quarters and given a computer system similar to a tablet that contained games that will help them improve their strategies and tactics. The Battle School is setup with a battle room, where they conducted training exercises and have battles with other launchies. Ender excels in battle strategies and tactics that they gave him his own army of launchies filled with mostly bottom end kids with a few good ones. He trains them whenever they have time and eventually become the top army of Battle School. His army is put to the test with having multiple battles day after day. One day a group of launchies, who hate him, surround him during his shower. Bonzo, his old army commander, is one of them. Ender
