Every Good Endeavor by Timothy Keller has provided me with such a better perspective and understanding of work and God 's intention for it. Previously, I have always viewed work as an evil that was necessary because of the fallen world that we live in. But, through Keller 's writings, I can see how it is part of God 's perfect plan for us. One thing that I have never notice, but Keller says is that, "In the beginning God works.” It is so simply stated in the Bible, but something I have always overlooked and seen as insignificant. But it is so liberating to see work not as something we must carry as a burden, but something God created us to do.
