I am writing in regards to discussing the matter of students' rehabilitation and rest. In the passage, "For Teens, A Good Mood Depends on Sleep" it explains the effect of the time a school starts and how students are affected by it. Based on the passage "For Teens, A Good Mood Depends on Sleep", school should start at a later times because it helps teenagers receive more rest, therefore resulting in higher performances and helps with the recovering of the mind. Students who have to wake up at earlier times for school usually don't receive enough sleep and that could be the cause for bad academics, or just an overall worse state of being for the student. The passage states, “We have set up a system that's very difficult for many teenagers and some kids who might be at risk of mental and behavioral health problems,' he concludes." The author emphasizes the way that students are affected and how they are worse versions of themselves due to the fact they aren't getting enough sleep. The passage also states, "They've found that the later times let kids sleep more." …show more content…
The passage states, "This will help them figure out how much sleep they need to feel their best." So, schools should grant kids more time so that they can be more ready and more mended than before. The passage also states, "They also have seen fewer car accidents, higher test scores and better graduation rates." What the author was implying was that schools will benefit if they change the time school starts. School starting at a later time will not only result in more graduates, but also less accidents which could grant a better reputation of safety for the
