In this article “If Technology Is Making Us Stupid, It’s Not Technology’s Fault”, written by David Theo Goldberg, the Director of the University of California Humanities Research Institute, speaks about the fact that if student’s intelligence is going downhill due to technology, that it is not. Goldberg argues that the more technology is introduced into homes, the less students focused on school work. Goldberg has a point, it is seen in almost all homes and even during school now a day. Young kids now a days are always inside using any type of electronics instead of playing outside. When children are using electronics 24/7, they are not doing so well in school. Parents should let their kids be limited to using electronics for only a couple of hours a day. All of the parents has a big role on their kids, but it all depends if the parents will stick with limiting their kids using electronics for only a couples of hours. Once the parents start limiting their usage of technology then their kids will start to realize that technology is not all that important that kids makes it be. Parents should make their kids go outside and play every day, or even the parents should go outside with their kids and enjoy life without technology. Parents should be able to set a limit time on any electronics their kid is using, so when the timer goes off the child would know they cannot use it anymore, because of the limitations their parent designed it to be on their devices. Now they are some parents out there that may agree or disagree to limit their kid for a certain time a day, but honestly the parent themselves have to try it out to know if it is a good or a bad
