In the book Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, Chapters one and two are about Lennie and George who Have arrived on the banks of the Salinas River in California looking for work. Two migrant workers named George and Lennie are looking for jobs during the great depression, but they can’t because Lennie keeps losing them due to the fact that he has special needs. George is a small, quick man with dark eyes; Lennie is actually completely different from George he is a naive, unintelligent mountain of a man who loves soft things (way to much). Lennie comes up to a pool of water and drinks; George yells at Lennie because the water is not so clean, but of course Lennie didn’t know and then asks George for some but he refuses.
