The video Analyst Pollution is destroying the earth. Human are harming the environment by littering and being wasteful. However no one is doing anything about it. The Public Service Announcement (PSA) “keep America Beautiful” and Seth Meyers’s earth day video try to persuade people to stop pollution. While the Seth Meyers Video make people laugh, the PSA is more pervasive for 21st century audience because the changing camera angle the dark colors and the unpleasant music makes powerful appeal to emotion. This video uses gentle satire and humor. He went further to personify earth in a playful, sexual and romantic way to describe it as a woman He describes earth as a woman that should be love and respect because of its importance to humans. In the PSA commercial vide the camera angle in changes to cause emotion to the viewer. The camera goes from wide, medium, to small, to show emotion. The angle was giving a different effect for different expression. At the beginning of the video it shows focus on the river and the journey of the India man, the end focuses pollution in ground the drop of tear in the India man’s eye. This video was describing the environmental issue. The use of color serves to signify the moderate and the non-moderate culture in this case. In the Seth Meyer video, the color shows modern culture more specific the 21st century. In other hand the PSA video was made in 1970s. The color in the Seth Meyer video was a bright color and very bright blue color. This color is more of a romantic color description. The color in the PSA was black and white color but there was more of a dark light effect which describe more of the pollution and
