Learning about many of the inmates of Luther Luckett Correctional Complex, Kentucky in Shakespeare Behind Bars is interesting. This jail was built for four hundred and eighty-five inmates in 1981, but ended up with one thousand and seventy-three inmates as of 2007. This documentary is showing the educational purpose of the play and how each member had been effected by the character they play. Luther Luckett Correctional Complex has more than sixty educational programs.
