The book I read was Sleeping Beauties by Stephen and Owen King. This Stephen King book is a realistic fiction book and could also be considered a fantasy fiction book at the same time. This book is about a woman like person named Eve, who could change the town of Dooling forever. It begins in the middle of the woods in a trailer with Truman Mayweather and Tiffany Jones. They get into a fight and then Eve comes and beats Truman. That is when we first meet Eve. After she kills Truman by beating him she goes to the Women's Correctional Facility. That is where most of this story takes place. After she goes to the facility, a sudden illness comes to all women as soon as they fall asleep. They end up calling it the Aurora Sleeping Disease. The disease leaves cocoons as they sleep and cause them to go into a sleep where they can not wake. Soon almost all women in the world have this disease. Eve was one of the ones left, but she was able to sleep and wake up perfectly fine. After the townspeople find out she's able to sleep and wake up they rage on the prison causing a small war in the the little town of Dooling.eve ends up telling the townspeople that she can save the women, but the women get to decide if they want to stay there or come back to the real world. They end up choosing to go back to the real world so they can still see their sons. …show more content…

She is a big impact on the town of Dooling, but also cause the town to fight over who gets to keep her contained. Mainly cause they think they can make her bring the women back. She doesn’t change much, but only by how she sees men. She now sees men as if they could be more polite and didn’t always try to hurt
