The Bronze Bow The Bronze Bow is written by Elizabeth George Speare. The main character is a tall lean 18 year old, his name is Daniel bar Jamin. He is bold, ambitious, and loyal. When he was eight he saw his father’s crucifixion, along with his uncle’s crucifixion. They were killed by Roman soldiers. Later his mother also dies. Daniel’s little sister, Leah is scared by her parent’s death and loses her mind, not leaving the house for years. Daniel’s grandmother isn’t able to support the children after a while. Their grandmother sells Daniel to the town blacksmith, Amalek. For five years, Daniel works for Amalek. Then, after those five years, he escaped. He became a member of a rebel group lead by Rosh, who wanted to get rid of all of the
