Is being stuck in one social class how people should live their life? In Hunger Games Katniss Everdeen and her family live just like that no freedom to make a better life. Katniss wishes that she could go to another district to get a better anything for her and her family. In the Hunger Games class distinction is a theme that without it would change many aspects of the book because the book would have turned out much different, the characters would have acted different, and the country would be a different world. Without class distinction the Hunger Games would have turned out totally different and lots of the book would have been changed. The last people left in the games would have been different because the games would have been less about sponsorships and more about the skills involved in winning like sneakiness and hunting skills. Class distinction made it so Katniss had to do something illegal to get food for her family. If it hadn’t existed in the book that wouldn’t be true because she could have gone between districts if she wanted to. During the games Katniss and Peeta wouldn't have had to worry about if they were going to get sponsors because everyone would have been more equal. Also they wouldn’t have worried about other people getting more sponsors than them because districts wouldn’t have trained there contestants before the games. Going off of that Katniss wouldn’t have fake loved Peeta so that they could get sponsors because she wouldn’t necessarily had to do that although she might have because of Peeta announcing his love for Katniss. During the final interviews Haymitch wouldn’t have stressed about Katniss having to keep pretending to be in love with Peeta.
