“The Most Dangerous Game” is a short story written by Richard Connel. In the story, Sanger Rainsford falls off his yacht and is forced to swim to Ship Trap Island. There he meets general Zaroff, who challenges him to a man versus man hunt and Rainsford wins. In the story, Connel was trying to show the value of human life. The author was trying to show this because he wanted to show the value of human life, and to show how opinions can change. One way the author showed value of human life, is in the beginning when Zaroff is trying to win Rainsford to his side.
