In the article entitled, “ The Science of Muddling Through “ by Charles Lindblom, Lindblom stated that administrator has the responsibility to design a policy to address inflation concept. The first thing administrator needs to take into consideration is employment fulfillment for business profit, protection of small savings, and to prevent stock market crashes. In order for the administrator to evaluate policies successfully, they should use two approaches. The first approach is to compare policies with other polices to design an effect policy. The other approach is to design other alternatives to address inflation issues. Lindblom stated that complex issues are hard to solve with the first method of policy approach. The reason why because the first approach take time and money that is not allotted. The decision making and planning of the polices is a successful by using the first approach of policies ((Shafritz & Hyde,2012). …show more content…

However, the government has disagreed with this new approach of policy making. All levels of the government does not agree with new policies which will cause conflict. Administrator undergo this same issue when comes to policies. An administrator has this issue when trying to create a policy with having conflict and misunderstand of alternative policies. It is important to solve the conflicts with the policy . In order for administration to design a policy to address conflicts of value, they have to follow these steps is to be clear which means that evaluation and empirical analysis has to intertwined and one polices and values have to be same. The step part of the step is that the administrator focuses his or her attention on marginal and increments values. It is important for the administration to make decision between X and Y increments . This assist the administration with designing alternative policies
