The connection between ¨The Pedestrian” by Ray B. to the dystopian genre. As for so in both stories there has always been an intercept from the government and his disadvantages towards the community which has been ruled. In both stories we can have a theme of the take over of technology.
In the story “The Pedestrian”, Author Ray B. was persistent about some of the problems that might happen to society in the future. His theme is that a society in which technology dominates lives leads to conformity, lack of immigration and individualism.
“The Writer” in the story who no longer has an audience, walks in the streets alone,isolated from the houses who are far from him covered in darkness or who may he see the single lights of the television, …show more content…

Furthermost, Mr Mean was caught by one police car which was weird for him because crime was no longer taken by this law anymore.
As so, Mean was being questioned by the police car which did not contained anybody inside; basically “he could be talking to one of the new technologies created” he thought. The police car was trying to figure out where was he heading to and why was he walking at night in the dark streets, Mean answered all his questions with no hesitation.
“The police car” which was mysteriously on a watch, talk to Mean about their profession which so he answered by saying that he was a “Writer”, the police car mentions that he had no profession when he mentions it in the quote “No profession,” said the police car, as if talking to itself”[Pedestrian 72].
Furthermost, The police car was convinced, that Leonard Mean was crazy, and that he needed the most help as possible which got to the point of convincing “The Writer” to get psychiatric help immediately; which for Mean was the easy escape to get out of
