To begin, mother and father get into a deadlock and father says David shouldn’t have to go through this abuse anymore. In addition, mother thinks it would be best if he just leaves, so David leaves and goes to a bar. There he meets an officer who takes him back to his house because he said he will be missed by his family. The officer soon finds out why David has run away so he calls the foster care center and David is being put in a foster home.
