That night changed the Busbys lives forever. The Busbys went from having a normal life to being under twenty-four-hour armed guard. They had no contact from friends, and had police escorts to and from school. The kids started becoming targets for bullying at school for special treatment. There is evidence that the author has achieved their goal because their book was A Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year, the title of being best book of the year made other readers who never read the book have more of an interest in reading it. The original possibilities that have been presented are the stuff John wrote in his notebook, during the time he was unable to talk. The author wasn’t convincing John said Meyer attempted to kill him to get his brother out of trial, and he was going to come back and attempt to kill him again, and maybe his family after the trial was dismissed. The author didn’t show a lot of detail about their new life in Tennessee. I think that one of the things the author left out. The book is useful because it teaches readers that hate and revenge is wrong, and it also makes people more aware of how dangerous the law enforcement field really is. It also gives people who didn’t know about the shooting information about the shooting.
