We must reflect on our workplace ethics, and where the company's standards lie when it comes to the age inclusion practices. We can also reflect on our healthcare system and the bare minimum done for those who identify with old age. There is a need for healthcare systems to cater effectively to older adults, we must take action now. This includes training healthcare professionals to identify and counteract ageism, ensuring equitable access to medical services, and promoting specialized geriatric care. Such reforms would lead to better health outcomes and a higher quality of life for older patients. Our communities can see some reform, too. Communities should be encouraged to adopt age-friendly initiatives that improve the quality of life for older residents.
