In “Time to Choose,” the director Charles Ferguson describes the consequences of human poor decisions on the destruction of mankind. Humans have been carelessly using inefficient energy sources such as coal and fossil fuels which can cause the destruction of earth. Charles Ferguson uses many authentic sources, scientific evidences, and a comparisons between Earth with human interactions and Earth after human interaction to help bolster his claim that humans need to switch to a cleaner and greener energy source: solar and wind energy. He showed the unpleasant conditions they’re working with and the poor equipment they are provided. Furthermore, he was able to record a mining accident where one unfortunate miner was killed. The director also had various witnesses to account for their experience in the mining field. The witnesses were censored due to the fear of speaking out in a place where coal production is a taboo to speak about due to oppression from the Chinese government.
