Along with the everyday struggles of being a teenager with Turrets Syndrome, Michael Vey is on a journey fighting against man. He is one of 170 kids that were experimented on as newborns. With many of the children “obtaining deadly electrical powers,” the scientists that performed the tests on the infants are searching far and wide for the children so they can cover up their tracks. Michael, and his new friend Taylor, are invited to a private school that seems very suspicious. The two are onto what the kidnappers have planned and decide to back out of the offer.
